At Lincoln memorial

Lincoln memorial at night is very beautiful and peaceful.

We went to this place at nearly 11.00 pm. (it close at midnight). There still be plenty of people over there.

At the reflecting pool in front of Lincoln memorial. We can see the Washington Monument with decorated light at night.

A bridge beside Potomac river

At a bridge beside the Potomac river, at evening light.

Very stunning view from here.

From this position, we can see the back of Lincoln memorial.

At Arlington cemetary

We went to Arlington cemetary when it's just closed.

So all we can do is just taking pics in front of the cemetary. But it's still beautiful, especially in evening light.

Look...how beautiful it is!!

At Washington Monument, July 4th

Our first trip in DC, Washington Monument. There is a firework over there which is one of a signature event in DC.
We walked there...not too far.
With our Thai friends in DC., Dr. Pui and Dr. Pui.

That's it...firework as a background of the monument.

Our apartment in Washington DC

Finally, our move was finished at our apartment. These pics were taken after all furniture (rental) were taken in and set already. This was happened around three day after we arrived DC.
Bedroom (smaller than one in Houston, but still lovely)
Living room (with a big screen TV, we can spend all day here!!)

Kitchen...prepared for heavy duty.

Pol came to help us during moving drive. Thank you doctor!!
We came to visit P Mol and her family at Atlanta. Her daughter (Joan) is so cute. Half Korean, half Thai is like this!!

At tram to the top of the Stone mountain.

View from the top of the Stone mountain...magnificent!!

Moving to DC

Just after we finished packing....so tired.
CNN studio at Atlanta, Georgia (Day 2 of driving)
This is how tight our car is, after packing everything in!

At the stone mountain, Atlanta. This is a gigantic granite rock mountain (just one piece of rock). There is a big sculture of the old American general during civil war. Its size is about 4-storey building height and two football field width! Someone call this the Mt.Rushmore of the east.

Fairwell dinner before leaving to DC

With many Thai friends at Thai and Chinese restaurant

We bought a lottery before leaving. (hope it'll be a lucky ticket).
Finally, we got it....eaten.

A couple of friends brought us to Hooter restaurant. First time for us here!!
