The cathedral of learning.
This is once claimed as the tallest school in the world.

amazing!!

All of these behind us is glass...can you beleive that.

At Phipps garden, they even have a room specifically showed Thai's tropical forest.

It's a very good feeling to see all of these stuffs over there.

Phipps Botanical Garden, Pittsburgh

This place is a famous botanical garden which grow many beautiful flowers and plants with decorated glass.

There are tons of colorful glass like this all over the garden. So it's very interesting to see.

Each piece of these decorative glass costs multiple thousands dollars. Very pricey..

Point State Park, Pittsburgh

This is a signature place in Pittsburgh.

It's exactly the place where three river join together. We can see one of the largest fountain in US. behind Penn. But unfortunately, at this time (winter), the fountain is close.

From this point, we can even see the tram that we just went to visit on top of Mt. Washington

Mt Washington, Pittsburgh

Here is the view on Mt. Washington in the morning. We can see the golden triangle which is the junction of three river across Pittsburgh. This location made Pittsburgh one of the most rapid growing city in the past.

Penn is now a referee between George Washington and a tribe leader of native american in an event in the past. This statue is situated on the beautiful point on Mt. Washington.
See how cold it is (it's almost at freezing point during this time)!!

Traditional tram to top of Mt. Washington...nice

Shenandoah national park

This is the first snow we ever seen this year. Actually, it's still in Fall. But as high as this place, the snow is not uncommon.

We stop by to have lunch here. Very cold..

Skyline drive, Shenandoah national park, Virginia

Color changing tree and scenary on the famous skyline drive on the blueridge mountain, Shenandoah park

It's a road along the ridge of mountain so the byway scenary is stunning.

At some part, we even see the snow along the road.

A scientific musician used these staclamite in cavern as pipes in an organ (like in the church). That makes this room claim as the biggest instrument in the world. Note the wire from the machine to the pipe.

This natuaral appearance is like a sunny side up egg but actually it's all stone...

At Luray Cavern, Verginia

It's a very hugh limestone cave in a high area in Verginia, nearby the Shenandoah national park

Look!! how beautiful it is.
