Library of Congress

The picture behind was made from thousand pieces of mosaic. This is a highlight here.

On the way back, we drove pass a nice seafood market at a wharf nearby. We lived here for nearly one year but didn't know about this place before. What's a pity...

Library of Congress

This is one of the biggest library in the world. And we think it's also one of the prettiest library as well. Check these!!

Library of Congress

At this point, there still are some cherry blossom tree left blooming. Later than the most for about one week, this is because it's the different type of cherry blossom. Today, we will go to visit the library of congress. We walked pass a beautiful building, the supreme court of the United States. Unfortunately, it's close for tourist today.

Cherry Blossom at Kenwood village

We found a millionaire village here in DC. All trees in this village are cherry blossom and it's even more beautiful than the trees around the tidal basin where is the most popular place to see cherry blossom. Thanks to our friends, Pui for telling us this magnificent place.

The distance was 5-6 miles, the weather was very wet and cold (rainy in temp ~ 46 F)

But we all had a great time from this bike trip.

Bike tour, cherry blossom festival

Group of our friends from around the US (Houston, Saint Luis, Delaware, NY) joined together for this exciting (but wet) trip.

It's rainy the day we go, but still have a lot of fun!!

Pol also came to visit us with his friends from NY

At Japanese lantern, a landmark for the festival.

You can see how beautiful it is!!!

At Tidal Basin, can see Washington Monument and Jefferson Memorial behind.

Actually, this beautiful flower is not the cherry blossom. This is Magnolia, still beautiful though.

At Tidal Basin, the most popular place for observing cherry blossom. Can see the Washington Monument behind.

We went there with a Thai doctor from Delaware.

Cherry Blossom festival, Washington DC

At Haine's point, a very good point to see cherry blossom.
